The Community Furniture Stores in Scarborough, York and Selby are now selling paint in addition to furniture. Community RePaint is a national initiative that makes use of paint that would otherwise go to waste.
Leftover paint is collected from suppliers and retailers and sold on at £2 per litre, meaning everyone can afford to spruce up their home. Paint can also be made available to community projects.
