Our scheme in County Durham, run by County Durham Furniture Help Scheme, joined the network in 2011. They collect paint locally from traders, retailers and manufacturers and also accept donations of non-hazardous, usable paint from householders. Paint is available for individuals and groups to purchase at £1.50 per litre.
If you need paint you can contact the scheme or go along when they are open. If you have specific requirements or need larger quantities of paint we would recommend calling the scheme to check they have the paint you need available.
If you are a householder and have usable paint to donate, please contact the scheme to arrange an appointment to drop off your leftover paint. Please only visit the scheme during opening hours and do not leave paint at the scheme outside of its opening hours.
